Here's your friendly tip for the day: Never, ever, EVER, leave your omega 3 fish oil pill in your pocket. Why? Because when you wash your pants, it will dissolve and your pants will smell like fish FOREVER.
As you may have guessed, I know this from personal experience. I have washed this pair of pants three times, but it still smells. Any suggestions? I was thinking of soaking it in a bleach solution because it's white. I'll probably google "fish smell pants" later.
Just trying to help you learn from my mistakes.

Before you try bleach, try vinegar. Just make a solution of white vinegar and water (about 1 to 5). Vinegar is a great smell remover. And, even though it will stink like vinegar until you wash it, once you wash it, the vinegar smell will disappear.
P.S.--This works for nasty smelling dish rags, too. (Though, the stronger the smell, the stronger the solution should be)
After my google search I actually tried lemon juice. I try to use bleach as little as possible on clothes (it just kills them). That didn't seem to help, so vinegar was my next step. I use vinegar for cleaning everything! Did you know it kills 90+% of germs and 80% of mold? The smell doesn't bother me, and it evaporates pretty fast.
Thanks!
I don't have any tips for cleaning, but I had to say thanks for sharing. I appreciate your candidness and willingness to help others learn from your mistakes.
Hope that you and the family are doing well! Love & miss you!!!
